Reverse Pocky has been around for a while and is basically flips the concept of regular Pocky on its head…or rather inside out.
Instead of having chocolate on a biscuit stick, Reverse Pocky basically puts the filling inside the stick.
You you get a long hollow biscuit stick that is filled with flavored chocolate. As usual, the Pocky people have already released multiple new Pocky flavors in the style.
Belgian Dark Chocolate Reverse Pocky is a pretty simple varient. Biscuit stcik that is filled with a dark and rich Belgian chocolate.
The chocolate filling is hard, and not soft like a truffle – which is what we initially expected.
Overall it tastes nice, whilst not being a standout product in the Pocky range. The full-length biscuit exterior makes it easy for dipping into hot drinks though!
The reverse Belgian Pocky seems to have been bigger in Thailand and Europe, more than Japan.
You can still find it online, and it is also available in Belgian Milk Chocolate flavor.
